Terms of Service
Welcome to Dovelo. By using this website and its games you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. The service
Dovelo is a free website with browser games. We may add, change or remove games and features at any time, including for maintenance. Multiplayer is planned but not available yet; current games are solo.
2. Accounts
- An account is optional. You can play without one.
- Accounts are created through Google sign-in only. Signing in for the first time creates your account.
- Accounts are used to save your data (scores, favorites) and to earn points and unlock features we may add.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google login secure.
3. Points
Points are a fun in-game feature. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted or reset, for example to correct errors or remove points gained by cheating.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or tamper with scores, points or the site's code or network traffic;
- use bots or automated tools to play, create accounts or collect data;
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or other people's accounts;
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others.
We may suspend or delete accounts, and reset scores or points, that break these rules.
5. Ownership
The Dovelo name, design, games and content belong to Dovelo Games or its licensors and are protected by law. You may play the games for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them without permission. Open-source libraries we use remain under their own licences.
6. Third-party services
Sign-in, hosting and other features rely on third parties such as Google and Supabase. Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
8. No warranty
Dovelo is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the site will always be available, error-free or that saved scores and points will never be lost.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dovelo Games is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Dovelo at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we close the service.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after an update means you accept it.
